AFJ proudly takes a moment to applaud excellence in food journalism appearing across media platforms. We are thrilled for our members and friends recognized today as James Beard Award nominees in the categories of Restaurant and Chef, Media and Restaurant Design.
Planning for the AFJ Food conference in Philadelphia is underway, with James Beard Award winners Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamilton, of Canal House, signed on as our keynote speakers. The multi-talented pair will talk about their careers from their days at Saveur to their current culinary endeavors, including writing, designing and photographing their own series of cookbooks, writing their popular daily lunch blog, and even hosting a radio show.
Facts matter. You like them. You like facts so much you decided to make sharing facts your career. You probably also like other people who like facts. That is precisely why you need to take a few minutes and renew your AFJ membership now.
The Seattle conference was a blast, from the start to the finish.
